Planning and Inventory Coordinator

We are currently recruiting for one of our clients, a fast-growing manufacturing company specialized in grain processing, recognized for its environmental commitment and the promotion of regional agriculture. The company offers a structured, collaborative, and autonomous work environment, within highly engaged teams.

Mission

We are looking for a Planning and Inventory Coordinator.
You will play a key liaison role between production, planning, logistics, customer service, and accounting, with a strong analytical and operational component.

You will be part of a planning team of three people (Planner, Master Planner, and Customer Service), working in close collaboration with the production and procurement teams. The position is based in an open-space office, at the heart of operations.

Your Responsibilities

Participate in the weekly planning review with the production team

Develop and monitor production schedules

Produce weekly reports (inventory, logistics, planning)

Ensure inventory follow-up and consistency between the shop floor, the ERP system, and accounting

Release purchase orders and production orders in the system

Manage documentation related to receiving, shipping, and inventory transactions

Occasionally intervene on the production floor (physical checks, counts, validations)

Support transportation planning

Communicate with customers and suppliers

Support customer service

Assist accounting during month-end, system resets, and recall exercises

Participate in continuous improvement projects

Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards (BRC – an asset)

Perform any other related tasks as required by operational needs

Your profile

Target Profile:

DEC or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field

3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment

Comfortable with numbers, data analysis, and Excel (tables, tracking, projections)

Experience with an ERP system (essential)

Strong attention to detail, rigor, and ability to ask the right questions

Curious, autonomous, and analytical mindset

Ability to manage repetitive tasks while remaining vigilant

Strong planning and organizational skills

Comfortable working both in an office setting and on the production floor

Functional French and English (approximately half of the plant is English-speaking)

Knowledge of the agri-food sector and BRC/HACCP standards is an asset, but not required

Conditions:

Schedule: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

100% on-site position (no remote work)

Salary: $65,000 to $75,000, based on experience
