QUALITY CONTROL SUPERVISOR

This is a replacement role following the retirement of a key leader – a real opportunity for someone who thrives in action. Mission

YOUR ROLE:

You will be responsible for quality assurance at the heart of production. This is an on-site role: you will be in the laboratory and on the production floor, not behind a desk.

Specifically, you will:

Oversee daily quality control and laboratory activities
Lead and motivate a team
Act as a strategic bridge between Production, Quality Assurance, and R&D
Manage compliance with GMP, HACCP, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with meticulous attention to detail
Ensure quality and traceability across multiple production lines

Your profile

Experience :

• 3 to 5 years in Quality Control or Quality Assurance
• Priority: GMP cosmetics
• Open to: Food & Beverage or Pharmaceutical (if adaptable)
Technical Skills :
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and quality documentation
• Precision with SOPs and traceability
• Comfortable in unionized and regulated environments
Behavioral Strengths :
• Natural leadership: inspire a unionized team through influence and communication
• Operational presence: active in lab and on the floor
• Cross-functional communication: bridge Production, QA, and R&D
• Adaptability: dynamic environment, small batches, high throughput
Language :
• French: fluent or native (required – fully French-speaking environment)
• English: not required
Growth potential :
• Capability to step into a director-level role within 2–3 years
WORKING CONDITIONS
Compensation & Benefits :
• Salary: $90,000 to $100,000 (based on experience)
• Performance bonus: 5 %
• Hours: 37.5 hours/week, 5 days on-site
• Shifts: 9am–5pm or 10am–6pm (flexible)
