I’m currently hiring a Health, Safety & Environment Coordinator for a well-established manufacturing company recognized for its expertise in regulated product manufacturing and packaging.

Mission

Reporting to the Quality, Health & Safety Director, you will play a key role in supporting and strengthening the company’s HSE culture across manufacturing operations.
You will contribute to regulatory compliance, risk prevention, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the implementation and improvement of HSE policies and procedures
• Conducting inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
• Following up on corrective and preventive actions
• Coordinating HSE training programs (WHMIS, lockout/tagout, PPE, ergonomics, confined spaces, etc.)
• Maintaining HSE documentation and compliance records
• Supporting emergency response planning and prevention initiatives
• Contributing to environmental management activities (waste, chemicals, emissions, water, etc.)
• Participating in audits, regulatory inspections, and continuous improvement projects
• Working closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams
• Promoting a proactive safety and compliance culture on the floor

Your profile

We are looking for a hands-on, organized, and proactive professional comfortable working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
What we’re looking for:
• College or university degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environment, or related field
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in industrial, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical environments
• Strong knowledge of Canadian HSE regulations and standards
• Experience with audits, inspections, and HSE documentation
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Continuous improvement mindset and field-oriented leadership
Assets:
• Experience in pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environments
• First aid training or additional HSE certifications
