Production manager

I am currently partnering with a well-established food manufacturing company looking for a Production Manager to support daily operations and drive operational excellence.
Mission
Reporting to the Production Director, you will play a strategic role in coordinating manufacturing activities and enhancing operational performance.
Key responsibilities include:
-Oversee daily production activities and ensure operational targets and KPIs are achieved.
-Analyze performance metrics, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
-Ensure compliance with quality, food safety, sanitation, and occupational health and safety standards.
-Drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize processes, equipment, and resource utilization.
-Lead production supervisors and coordinators, manage workforce planning, and maintain efficient production flow.
-Partner closely with the maintenance team on preventive and corrective actions.
-Support employee development through coaching, training, and performance follow-ups.
-Promote a positive work environment and provide strong leadership when addressing workplace challenges.
-Contribute to operational projects and support strategic organizational decisions.
Your profile
Your Profile:
3–7 years of experience in a similar role within food manufacturing.
Butchery environment experience is considered a strong asset.
Strong knowledge of SQF/HACCP standards and occupational health and safety practices.
Proven experience managing budgets, inventory, and supply processes.
Comfortable using technology and ERP systems.
Bilingual in French and English (Spanish is an asset).
