Mission
As the Enterprise Data Squad Lead, you will guide a multidisciplinary team (data analysts, data engineers, BI specialists) and help the organization fully leverage its strategic data assets. You will act as both a technical and organizational leader, ensuring data quality, availability, security, and continuous value delivery.
Your key responsibilities:
Team Leadership
Lead, develop and empower a data-focused agile squad.
Oversee data‑driven initiatives, ensuring quality, timelines, and resource optimization.
Collaborate with Product Owners to plan, prioritize and deliver the squad backlog.
Provide support in solving technical and operational challenges.
Foster teamwork, alignment, and collaboration within the squad.
Offer continuous coaching and support professional growth.
Data Architecture & Operations
Define and implement best practices in data quality, governance, and security.
Align data solutions with business needs and strategic goals.
Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, Bill 25).
Oversee the development and evolution of data platforms (data lake, warehouse, integrations).
Ensure performance, reliability and scalability of data solutions.
Promote advanced analytics and AI adoption.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Identify automation opportunities.
Monitor key performance indicators to enhance processes and productivity.
Contribute to technology watch and share knowledge internally.
Encourage innovation and experimentation within the team.
Support the organization’s overall digital transformation strategy.
Your profile
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or related field.
7+ years in data management, including at least 3 years in technical leadership or team management.
Strong understanding of data architecture and governance.
Hands-on experience with ETL tools, SQL and Azure cloud data solutions.
Familiarity with BI and analytics tools (Power BI, Cognos).
Strong leadership, coaching mindset and collaborative approach.
Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex data concepts.
Strategic, results‑oriented, innovative and improvement‑driven.
Bilingual in French and English.
Assets:
Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe).
Exposure to DevOps or DataOps practices.
Data governance or cloud certifications.
