IT Business / Functional Analyst – Finance (D365 F&O)

Mission

As an IT Business Analyst, you will contribute to the management of requests and the delivery of IT projects. Your responsibilities include analyzing and documenting internal customer needs, recommending optimized solutions, and actively participating in the evolution of the D365 F&O environment and related applications. Working closely with Product Owners, development teams, and the Scrum Master or Project Manager, you ensure that business objectives, timelines, and budgets are achieved.

Your daily responsibilities:

• Understand the business context and assess the impact of projects or changes on organizational processes;

• Facilitate information gathering, analyze, and document the needs of users and internal stakeholders;

• Collaborate with Product Owners and Solution Architects to recommend optimal business solutions;

• Identify gaps, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities aligned with D365 F&O best practices;

• Translate business requirements into functional and technical models for development teams;

• Coordinate work between internal customers and technical teams;

• Define test cases and perform functional testing;

• Prepare user training and support the transition to operations, including stabilization after go‑live;

• Analyze, investigate, and resolve incidents and system issues;

• Contribute to IT system strategic planning, recommend prioritization of enhancement requests, and propose continuous improvement opportunities.

Your profile

Your Profile

• Education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Financial Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field;

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or Financial Systems Analyst;

• Experience in e‑commerce (asset);

• Fluency in both official languages, written and spoken;

• Proficiency in key D365 F&O financial modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank Management, Budgeting, Consolidations, Project Management and Accounting);

• Proficiency with the Financial Report Add‑in (MR).
