Mission
I am looking for a senior accountant for an insurance company on Montreal’s South Shore
Your responsibilities will include:
-Participating in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, as well as in the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
-Perform account reconciliations, analyze variances, and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
-Prepare working papers and supporting documentation required for audits.
-Conduct financial analyses and contribute to management reports to support decision-making.
-Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and established procedures.
-Participate in the improvement and automation of accounting processes.
-Participate in the implementation of processes using artificial intelligence.
-Contribute to financial transformation projects, particularly acquisitions and the integration of new entities.
Your profile
Your Profile:
-CPA required
-3 to 7 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
-Strong knowledge of IFRS and generally accepted accounting principles.
-Proficiency in financial close processes, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
-Advanced proficiency in Excel and a good understanding of ERP systems.
-Demonstrate attention to detail, independence, and excellent analytical skills.
-Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills.
-Be able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment.
-Show initiative and a strong interest in continuous improvement.
