Mission
I am looking for an accounting technician for a multinational distribution company in Laval.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Maintaining accounting records and posting journal entries.
-Compiling and analyzing financial data, as well as balance sheet and income statement accounts.
-Performing account reconciliations and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
-Collaborating with various company departments to prepare and post journal entries.
-Respond to requests for information from internal teams and ensure proper follow-up.
-Participate in cash management activities and the month-end closing process.
-Contribute to the preparation of the Group’s financial reports.
-Participate in the improvement of accounting processes and various special projects.
-Perform any other related tasks
Your profile
Your Profile:
-DEC or bachelor’s degree in accounting, or equivalent experience.
-At least 3 years of accounting experience, ideally in retail or distribution.
-Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
-Knowledge of GAAP accounting standards; knowledge of IFRS (a plus)
-Strong communication skills, team spirit, and the ability to work independently.
-Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
-Bilingual in French and English to communicate with customers and suppliers in other provinces
