Mission
I am looking for a Chief Accountant for a company located in Laval.
Your responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure the reliability of financial data.
Coordinate end-of-period activities.
Ensure compliance with financial deadlines.
Validate accounting transactions and financial analyses prepared by the team.
Conduct or oversee various account analyses and financial controls.
Produce the financial information necessary for management decision-making.
Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory obligations.
Collaborate with various external stakeholders, including auditors and government agencies.
Participate in cash management and the maintenance of relationships with financial partners.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve administrative and financial processes.
Contribute to various business projects and optimization initiatives.
Your profile
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
CPA (a plus)
Experience supervising or coordinating a team
Bilingual in French and English.
Proficiency in Excel.
Experience with an ERP system (a plus).
What we offer:
Salary between $90,000 and $110,000
