Mission
I am looking for an accounting manager for an insurance company in Saint-Lambert.
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements.
- Review complex accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses.
- Oversee year-end closing procedures and liaise with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a large team of accounting professionals.
- Serve as a resource person for accounting and technical issues.
-Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes.
-Participate in the automation and standardization of procedures to improve the team’s efficiency.
-Collaborate with various internal teams on financial and corporate projects.
-Participate in various projects related to the growth, integration, and evolution of the finance function.
Your profile
Your Profile:
- CPA certification required
- Experience in team management
- Bilingual in French and English to communicate with clients in the United States
- Experience in a large corporation
- Experience in an accounting firm (a plus)
- Ability to thrive in a changing and growing organization
