I'm currently recruiting a Lead Electrical Engineer for a global manufacturing company involved in large-scale technology and critical infrastructure projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge data center developments within a collaborative and fast-paced engineering environment.
Mission
As Lead Electrical Engineer, you will support projects from early technical discussions through commissioning.
You will lead the electrical design and validation of high-availability data center infrastructure, including MV/LV distribution, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, generators, ATS/STS, busways and power distribution equipment.
You'll perform load calculations, short-circuit studies, protection coordination and arc flash analyses while coordinating electrical integration with HVAC, cooling and EPMS/BMS systems.
Working closely with internal teams, engineering partners, contractors and equipment suppliers, you'll participate in design reviews, FAT/SAT activities and commissioning support.
Your profile
Your Profile:
-Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
-5–12 years of electrical design experience.
-Experience in data centers or other mission-critical facilities.
-Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E and IEEE standards.
-Familiarity with redundancy architectures (N, N+1, 2N).
-Experience with AutoCAD, Revit or similar software.
-Strong technical leadership and communication skills.
-Willingness to travel regularly within the United States.
-OIQ membership is considered an asset.
