Electromechanic
Introduction
Hello,
I’m Simon Mathé, Recruitment Consultant at FED ManuTech, specialized in engineering, technical and manufacturing positions.
I’m currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing company specialized in the design and installation of automated conveyor systems. They are looking for a hands-on electromechanic who enjoys both shop-floor assembly and on-site installation work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Mission
Reporting to the Plant Director, you will play a key role in the mechanical and electrical assembly of industrial equipment and conveyor systems designed by the engineering team.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include reading and interpreting plans, wiring diagrams and schematics to assemble automated systems such as servo motors, photo sensors, solenoid valves, safety circuits and electrical panels.
You will also handle the mechanical assembly of conveyor systems including frames, supports, drive modules, belt alignment, equipment preparation and final adjustments before installation.
On customer sites, you will participate in the full installation process: setting up equipment, installing conveyors and machinery, assisting with commissioning, testing performance, troubleshooting and carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance.
Your field expertise will be highly valued, and you will work closely with engineers by suggesting design improvements to optimize system performance and reliability.
You will also ensure compliance with all health and safety standards on-site.
Your profile
You hold a DEP in Electromechanics and ideally have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, particularly in conveyor assembly or industrial equipment installation.
You are comfortable with both mechanical assembly and electrical wiring, and you enjoy working on complete systems rather than isolated tasks.
You hold a valid ASP Construction certification, along with valid forklift, lift platform and lockout/tagout certifications.
You have your own toolbox and are known for being reliable, resourceful and punctual.
Strong French communication skills are required, along with functional English for technical documentation and certain job sites.
