Project Manager

Introduction

Hello, I’m Jérémy Dupeuble, Recruitment Advisor at FED ManuTech, specializing in engineering and manufacturing talent acquisition. We are looking for a Project Manager to join a leading Canadian industrial manufacturer, recognized for the quality and durability of its custom electromechanical equipment.

Mission

Reporting to the Project Director, you will manage your projects from start to finish, ensuring cost, quality, and timeline objectives are met while maintaining client satisfaction. You are the primary contact for your projects and coordinate internal and external teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal :

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, automation, procurement, production).
• Plan and monitor all project phases (pre-project, engineering, manufacturing, delivery, installation).
• Lead project meetings and provide regular progress summaries.
• Track financial progress and prepare final project reports (budget, schedule, objectives).
• Ensure compliance with internal project management procedures.

Procurement :

• Prepare and analyze requests for quotes for materials, equipment, and labor.
• Validate alignment between project budget and actual purchases.
Manufacturing / Subcontracting:
• Regularly monitor the progress of internal and subcontracted manufacturing.

Client Relations :

• Ensure client objectives regarding timelines, quality, and technical specifications are met.
• Manage invoicing and contract deliverables.
• Attend client meetings as required and handle contract amendments and claims.

Your profile

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Solid project management experience, preferably in a complex industrial environment.
• Field / equipment installation experience (asset).
• Financial and project planning knowledge (MS Project, Primavera an asset).
• Fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
• Autonomous, team-oriented, strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, analytical and synthesis skills, proactive.
• Member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (asset).

Working Conditions:

• Salary: 110,000 $ to 140,000 $ + bonus.
• Flexible schedule, 50% remote work possible with provided equipment.
• Minimum 3 weeks vacation, personal days, 13 statutory holidays.
