I'm looking for a Financial Analyst:

Under the supervision of the Controller, the Financial Analyst supports financial activities and produces relevant financial and operational information for the Canadian entity.

Main Responsibilities

Financial Planning
- Develop the annual budget and prepare the necessary documentation for grant and tax credit applications.
- Monitor tax audits and conduct benchmarking analyses, particularly regarding insurance.

Accounting and Tax Analysis
- Perform monthly tracking of consumption taxes.
- Analyze general ledger accounts and reports related to pension plans.
- Calculate tax installments and ensure compliance.

Financial Operations Management
- Prepare regulatory financial reports.
- Code and reconcile supplier invoices.
- Contribute to the preparation of annual tax files.

Reporting
- Generate reliable financial reports and participate in year-end closing processes.
- Conduct cost optimization analyses and produce required filings for government authorities.

Cross-Functional Support
- Provide support for general administrative activities.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Act as a resource person for tax matters, particularly regarding payroll and sales taxes

Your profile

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- 3 to 4 years of relevant experience
- CPA designation obtained or in progress
- Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, analytical, prioritization, negotiation)
- Knowledge of cost accounting and Canadian taxation
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and other IT tools
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics (ERP), Word, Power BI, and Planning Analytics
