Mission

Our client is a well-established international company specializing in the distribution of parts and components. Operating across several continents, the company stands out for the quality of its service, the performance of its logistics network, and its strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

As part of its growth in North America, the company is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead its operations in the Greater Montreal Area.

Reporting to the General Manager, your mission will be to ensure the performance and smooth execution of daily operations across Canada and the U.S., including logistics, customer service, and procurement.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage teams in logistics, sales administration, customer service, and procurement.

Maintain daily relationships with key clients and address operational issues (claims, warranties, technical support).

Conduct annual performance reviews, identify training needs, and optimize work procedures to ensure efficient and seamless execution.

Manage staff schedules and ensure accurate information is communicated to payroll.

Participate, as needed, in the recruitment and onboarding of new employees.

Ensure effective communication flow between teams and senior management.

Oversee the availability and proper functioning of office and warehouse equipment.

Contribute to a culture of performance, rigor, and collaboration within the organization.

Your profile

Education in logistics, warehouse management, industrial operations, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within an industrial or distribution environment.

Proven experience in team supervision and operational management.

Strong organizational skills, excellent prioritization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent proficiency with computer tools (Excel, ERP, WMS, etc.).

Natural leadership, clear communication skills, and a collaborative approach.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and actively participate in operations when required.

Knowledge of the automotive sector (an asset).
