As part of its growth in North America, the company is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead its operations in the Greater Montreal Area.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operational, human, and logistical activities of the site. This role ensures smooth daily operations, optimal team performance, and adherence to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and motivate a team of approximately 8 employees, including scheduling, task allocation, and skills development.

Supervise all logistics activities: receiving, storage, order preparation, shipping, and inventory control.

Optimize transportation and storage flows to maintain a high level of operational efficiency.

Manage inventories of supplies, consumables, and spare parts required for daily operations.

Plan and oversee the maintenance of handling equipment and machinery.

Participate actively in floor operations during peak periods to support the team.

Monitor and analyze departmental performance indicators (KPIs), and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaborate closely with internal teams (sales, procurement, customer service) to ensure smooth coordination across the logistics chain.

Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and internal operating procedures.

Efficiently use warehouse management systems and ERP tools to plan, execute, and track operational activities.

Your profile

Degree or diploma in logistics, warehouse management, industrial operations, or equivalent.

3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within an industrial or distribution environment.

Proven experience in team supervision and operational management.

Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent command of computer tools (Excel, ERP, WMS, etc.).

Natural leadership, clear communication, and a collaborative approach.

Ability to work in a dynamic environment and actively participate in operations when needed.

Knowledge of the automotive sector is an asset.
