Maintenance Supervisor – Day Shift – Montreal

I am currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for a well-established manufacturing company located in Montreal.
Mission
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the complete maintenance of a fleet of containers, trailers, and specialized equipment.
You will play a key role in the technical management of operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance in all maintenance activities.
Main responsibilities:
- Supervise inspection, repair, and maintenance activities for containers, trailers, and equipment.
- Act as a technical liaison between the company and contractors or subcontractors.
- Manage the purchasing, negotiation, and distribution of spare parts.
- Review and approve repair invoices while monitoring purchases through the internal system.
- Prepare and manage the annual maintenance budget.
- Supervise the fabrication or modification of parts and equipment based on specific customer needs.
- Ensure the proper functioning of refrigeration and temperature-controlled systems.
Be available to work every other Saturday morning.
Your profile
- College diploma in industrial technology, mechanics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance of containers, trailers, or similar equipment.
- Knowledge of welding and mechanical processes.
- Proficiency with computer tools and purchasing systems.
- Bilingualism (French and English) required.
- Experience with refrigeration systems is a strong asset.

Conditions:
Salary: Between $80,000 and $85,000, depending on experience.
- Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with every other Saturday morning.
