I am currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing company serving the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and natural health product industries. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Maintenance & Mechanical Operator to support packaging operations and ensure production equipment operates at peak performance.
Mission
Your Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining production uptime and supporting packaging operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Performing equipment changeovers and production line set-ups according to manufacturing schedules;
Making mechanical adjustments to ensure optimal equipment performance;
Troubleshooting technical issues and responding quickly to production downtime;
Carrying out preventive maintenance and basic repairs on production equipment;
Disassembling, cleaning, inspecting, and reassembling machinery according to established procedures;
Maintaining tooling and equipment in excellent working condition;
Working closely with production supervisors and operators to support daily operations;
Recording equipment downtime and maintenance interventions;
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization;
Following all health, safety, and quality requirements.
Equipment includes:
Labeling machines;
Vision inspection systems;
Conveyors;
Capping machines;
Automated packaging equipment.
Working Conditions
Permanent full-time position;
Day shift schedule;
Competitive hourly rate ranging from $25 to $35/hour, based on experience;

Your profile
Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing equipment set-up, or mechanical troubleshooting;
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills;
Experience in pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food processing, or other regulated manufacturing environments is an asset;
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with production teams;
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards;
Organized, proactive, and reliable.
