Mission
You will be part of the engineering team, contributing to the design and development of complex mechanical systems, with a strong focus on 3D design.
Your day-to-day work will involve designing and improving equipment using SolidWorks, performing design calculations, and ensuring product reliability and safety through risk analysis.
You will also review and validate design concepts within the team, support testing and commissioning phases, and collaborate closely with production, automation, and field service teams.
This role offers exposure to full project cycles and occasional on-site involvement for measurements, installation support, or troubleshooting.
Your profile
We are looking for a practical and solution-oriented engineer who thrives in a technical and collaborative environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and OIQ membership
• 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical design within an industrial setting
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (PDM is an asset)
• Knowledge of sheet metal and pneumatic systems
• Experience in risk analysis
• Comfortable working in a digital engineering environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Bilingual (French and English)
Experience in packaging machinery or automated equipment is a strong asset.
• Salary: $80,000 to $90,000 depending on experience
• Annual bonus: 6%
