Mission
I am looking for a accounts payable technician for my client located in Laval with parking. This is a permanent 40-hour contract.
Under the supervision of the accounts payable and receivable supervisor, the accounts payable clerk is responsible for the rigorous processing of supplier invoices in accordance with the 3-way matching process (order, receipt, invoice). They ensure the accuracy of payments, compliance with deadlines, and document compliance, while working closely with the purchasing and logistics teams.
Main responsibilities
Process supplier invoices according to the 3-way matching process:
Verify that the purchase order, delivery receipt, and invoice match.
Identify and resolve discrepancies or anomalies in collaboration with the relevant departments.
Enter invoices into the accounting system (ERP) with the correct accounting codes.
Monitor payments and due dates according to contractual terms.
Respond to supplier inquiries regarding payments or discrepancies.
Participate in monthly accounts payable reconciliations.
Maintain complete documentation in accordance with internal policies and audit requirements.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounts payable processes.
Your profile
Education: Degree in accounting, administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role, ideally in the agri-food or manufacturing sector.
Technical skills:
Proficiency in ERP (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.)
Good knowledge of the 3-way matching process
Proficiency in Excel and office tools
