I’m currently looking for an Accounting Technician – Compilation for one of my clients, a growing accounting firm with around fifteen team members, located downtown near Square Victoria station. This is a full-time, permanent position offering great opportunities for professional development and career growth within a thriving company.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out compilation engagements and preparing financial statements.
- Preparing corporate tax returns (T2) and submitting reports to the relevant authorities in compliance with current regulations.
- Supporting the bookkeeping team in carrying out specific mandates.
- Assisting with various administrative tasks.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or a DEC/AEC in Accounting (required)
- 2–3 years of experience in an accounting firm
- Strong knowledge of Caseware, TaxPrep, QuickBooks Online, and Excel
- Ability to work independently
- Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written, in order to communicate with bilingual clients
