I am currently seeking a Accounting Technician for a growing retail sector SME. This is a permanent position based in Pointe-Claire.
Mission
Responsibilities
Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
Record monthly journal entries.
Prepare and enter daily deposits into the accounting system.
Prepare GST, HST, and QST tax returns.
Participate in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
Assist in the preparation of year-end audit and accounting files.
Carry out any other related duties to support departmental operations.
Your profile
Qualifications
Minimum of three (3) years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to demonstrate leadership and initiative.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
