I'm Caroline, Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.

I'm looking for an Accounting Technician for my client based on the South Shore. This is a permanent on-site position.

Mission

Supervise the accounting cycle and monthly, quarterly and annual financial operations.
Analyze financial statements.
Manage budgets, financial forecasts and profitability analyses.
Implement or improve internal processes and controls.
Collaborate with other departments to support sound financial management.
Propose ideas for improving administrative processes.
Perform a variety of related tasks, including administrative responsibilities.

Your profile

Job requirements:

Minimum of 2 years relevant accounting experience.
DEC or BAC in accounting, secretarial accounting, or equivalent. A combination of current training (e.g. Bachelor's degree in business accounting in process) and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience is also accepted.

Skills required:

Intermediate practical expertise in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
Bilingualism (French/English) considered an important asset or at least a very good knowledge of spoken and written French and English.
Proven administrative management skills.
Good knowledge of Excel and Word.
Strong sense of detail and responsibility
Sense of ethics and team spirit.
Autonomy, leadership and thoroughness.

Analytical mind and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team and manage priorities.
Good interpersonal skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English.
