I’m Caroline, a Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance roles. I handle two types of placements: temporary and permanent positions on Montreal’s South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and understands your industry. We cover roles in accounting, finance, and payroll.
I am currently seeking an Accounts Payable Technician for my client based in the Estrie region. This is a permanent hybrid position.
Mission
- Handle the entire accounts payable cycle: receiving, verifying, coding, and entering invoices.
- Monitor accounts payable and process payments within the required timeframes.
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist with month-end closing tasks.
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of accounting data.
- Collaborate with various departments and suppliers to resolve discrepancies and billing issues.
- Contribute to process improvement and perform various related accounting tasks.
- Any experience with implementing or migrating accounting software or ERP systems is a plus.
Your profile
- Education in accounting, administration, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting systems.
- Diligence, independence, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Working or professional-level English is a plus.
- Experience with the implementation, migration, or setup of accounting/ERP software is a plus.
PROCESS: Preliminary interview with Caroline Vansteene, Recruitment Consultant, followed by an interview with the Finance Director.
