Mission
Accounts Receivable Technician
The Accounts Receivable Technician is responsible for the full accounts receivable cycle, from billing to collections. The incumbent ensures the accuracy of customer transactions, monitors outstanding balances, applies payments, and supports efficient cash flow management while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, validate, and issue customer invoices.
Record and apply customer payments accurately.
Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on overdue accounts.
Communicate with customers regarding billing and payment inquiries.
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare aging reports and analyze outstanding receivables.
Participate in month-end close activities, including reconciliations, account analysis, and journal entries.
Support year-end activities, including audit preparation and bad debt provision analysis.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting procedures.
Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
Your profile
Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and receivables processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
