I’m Caroline, a Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance roles. I handle two types of placements: temporary and permanent positions on Montreal’s South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates within your industry. We cover roles in accounting, finance, and payroll.

I am currently seeking a Financial Controller for my client based in the Estrie region. This is a permanent hybrid position.

Mission

- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements
- Perform bank reconciliations and month-end journal entries
- Monitor production costs, inventory, and manufacturing variances
- Contribute to the development of budgets and financial forecasts
- Produce various financial reports and performance metrics for management
- Assist with cash flow monitoring and expense analysis
- Collaborate with operations, purchasing, and production teams to ensure the reliability of financial data
- Help improve accounting and financial processes
- Support external audits and the preparation of year-end financial statements
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting procedures

Your profile

- Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Relevant experience in accounting or finance
- CPA certification is a plus
- Interest in the manufacturing sector and operations
- Bilingualism in French and English is a plus
