My name is Caroline, and I’m a Recruitment and Business Development Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance roles. I handle both temporary and permanent placements on Montreal’s South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your industry. We cover roles in accounting, finance, and payroll.
I am seeking a Financial Controller for my client, an SME in the manufacturing sector. This is a permanent position in Richmond.
Mission
- Oversee all of the company’s accounting and financial operations
- Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements
- Manage the entire accounting cycle and month-end closings
- Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analyses
- Implement and improve internal controls and financial processes
- Oversee cash management, cash flow, and bank reconciliations
- Participate in the analysis of production costs, margins, and inventory
- Collaborate with operations, production, and management teams to support decision-making
- Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with accounting and tax standards
- Produce various management reports and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Your profile
- College degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Experience in an accounting firm or manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
- Experience in financial analysis, cost management, and inventory management is a plus
- Working knowledge of English
