I'm Caroline, Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.
I'm looking for an Accounting Technician for my client based on the South Shore. This is a permanent position.
Mission
- Support and supervise the work of accounting technicians assigned to files.
- Review work and ensure its accuracy.
- Prepare month-end closings, monthly closings, and margin files.
- Produce and analyze financial statements, identify trends, and suggest areas for improvement.
- Implement financial analyses to support decision-making.
- Evaluate and make recommendations on complex transactions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes.
- Participate in various financial projects in collaboration with colleagues.
- Collaborate in the monitoring of accounts receivable.
- Prepare the year-end file in support of the finance department.
- Participate in the budget process.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience (accounting firm or company).
- CPA designation or in the process of obtaining it (an asset).
- Advanced proficiency in spoken and written French.
- Excellent command of Excel and accounting software; knowledge of Sage (an asset).
- Good communication skills and team spirit.
- Rigorous, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proactive, agile, and adaptable.
- Good analytical and logical skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and propose solutions.
PROCESS: Initial interview with Caroline Vansteene, Recruitment Consultant, followed by an interview with the Financial Controller.
