Hello, I'm Juliette, Recruitment and Business Development Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance and accounting. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area.

I'm looking for a chief accountant for a company in the security sector.
You will work closely with the company's other departments. You will be responsible for managing the company's day-to-day accounting and financial operations, including invoicing, collections, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations and credit cards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, payroll, projects.
- Work with other departments to establish internal audit systems.
- Deposit payments.
- Enter and send project and facility invoices.
- Assist with file preparation.
- Implement and improve internal control procedures.
- Prepare weekly, monthly and annual reports.
- Ensure payroll production.
- Comfortable adapting and evolving processes as the business grows.
- Supervise accounting clerk.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Your profile
- Minimum of 5 years' recent experience in an accounting management position.
- Excellent technical knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and best practices.
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Punctuality, professionalism and attention to detail.
- Fluent written and spoken French required.
- Strong leadership skills
