Hello, I'm Hugo, Recruitment and Business Development Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance and accounting. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area.

I'm looking for a production accountant for my client in Mile-End. This is an 8-month temporary position, 100% remote.
Your responsibilities:
Prepare and process payroll for technicians, actors and extras in accordance with collective agreements and legal standards.
Verify and account for production supplier invoices, including follow-up on payments and statements of account.
Manage advances, petty cash, credit cards and reimbursements according to internal procedures.
Monitor short-term project cash flows (advances, payments, credit cards, petty cash balances)
Produce interim and final cost reports on time, in collaboration with the Controller, Production Accounting.
Ensure rigorous and up-to-date bookkeeping (filing, archiving, documentation).
Support the production team for accounting and administrative needs.
Participate in external audits and provide documentation for tax credit certification.
Report any discrepancies, irregularities or operational issues to the Controller, Production Accounting.
Your profile
5 years' experience in a similar position
Master's degree in accounting engineering
Knowledge and mastery of collective agreements
Excellent ability to manage several files at once, prioritize and meet deadlines
Thoroughness, autonomy, resourcefulness and attention to detail
Comfortable with Mac OS X, Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace
Bilingualism French/English (written and spoken) required
