I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent, on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance, and payroll positions.

I'm looking for an accounting clerk for my client in the manufacturing sector. This is a permanent, on-site position in Candiac.

Mission

Working Conditions
• Annual salary between $55,000 and $60,000 depending on your experience;
• Permanent, full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in-person, flexible schedule between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.;
• 3 weeks of annual vacation, 5 days of paid personal time off, and 4 additional days of paid vacation between Christmas and New Year's Day;

Role and Responsibilities
Based at the Candiac head office, and under the supervision of the Controller, the incumbent oversees the processing and monitoring of accounting transactions for all our divisions. In particular, he or she is responsible for:
• Reconciling invoices with purchase orders and verifying their approval and coding;
• Ensuring the accuracy of invoices and account statements;
• Entering invoices into the accounting system;
• Preparing payments and bank transfers;
• Classifying invoices and payments.
• Invoicing customer orders and collecting payments
• And other related tasks

Your profile

Required Knowledge and Experience
• Diploma of Professional Studies (DVS) in Accounting;
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar position;
• Good knowledge of Excel and the Office Suite.

Required Skills and Abilities
• Ability to work in a team;
• Enjoy clerical work and data entry;
• Be autonomous, meticulous, and have good organizational skills;
• Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
