I'm looking for an assistant controller:
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and record journal entries for monthly financial closings.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor general ledger accounts.
- Conduct financial analyses, including margins, budgets, and forecasts.
- Participate in the implementation, improvement, and optimization of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Generate financial reports and dashboards using advanced office tools.
- Support the monitoring and continuous improvement of internal controls.
- Calculate and analyze monthly variable compensation programs.
Your profile
Skills and Qualities
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and autonomy.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and improvement-oriented approach.
Profile
- University degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, ideally in a structured environment.
- Experience with ERP systems or comparable financial tools.
- Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables); knowledge of data visualization tools is an asset.
- Good knowledge of Canadian accounting standards.
- Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken.
