Hello, I'm Bianka, Senior Team Leader at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in accounting, finance, and payroll. I handle both temporary and permanent recruitment in the Greater Montreal area.

Mission

• Establish resource cost rates for project accounting purposes, while contributing to the enhancement of calculation tools and the documentation of methodologies and assumptions.

• Analyze variances between standard and actual resource costs, prepare detailed reports, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.

• Develop billing rates by resource based on project-specific commercial terms.

• Participate in commercial and strategic discussions with business development teams.

• Prepare clarification requests and financial notes for Bid Review Committee presentations.

• Perform ad hoc sensitivity and profitability analyses.

• Maintain and optimize the commercial proposal budgeting and modeling tool (CAPRI), including user support and training.

• Participate in external audits conducted by clients for the validation of labor rates.

• Support the tax compliance obligations of affiliated entities, including exemption requests, payroll withholding monitoring, tax filings, and issuance of tax slips.

• Manage the accounting of joint ventures, including financial statement reviews, financial follow-up, and profit-sharing calculations.

• Manage consolidation entries related to joint venture financial data.

• Participate in employee setup and maintenance within the ERP and payroll systems.

• Contribute to process improvement and innovation initiatives across the organization.

Your profile

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, along with a CPA designation.

Years of Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in cost accounting and project accounting (an asset).

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and accounting standards for private enterprises (ASPE)

• Knowledge of current tax legislation applicable to employers, individuals, and corporations

• Advanced proficiency in Excel

• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English
