Hello, I'm Juliette, Recruitment and Business Development Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in finance and accounting jobs. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area.

I'm looking for a Financial Analyst:

Reporting to the Finance leadership team and working closely with the accounting/finance department, the Financial Analyst plays a key role in the preparation of financial information, corporate tax compliance, and various financial reports within a multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Contribute to the preparation of quarterly financial reports.
- Perform financial statement and balance sheet analyses, and prepare corporate tax filings for assigned entities.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audit files for external auditors.
- Perform bank reconciliations involving a variety of accounting transactions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial data by identifying and explaining variances.
- Provide financial support to managers on various analytical and operational matters.
- Maintain and document the structure of the current consolidation system.
- Participate in financial system implementation and optimization projects.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and documentation of financial processes.
- Perform other related duties as required.

Your profile

- University degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CPA designation considered an asset.
- Strong interest in taxation.
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a similar role or within a public accounting firm.
- Demonstrated initiative and autonomy.
- High level of integrity, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership and work effectively in a team environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, lookup tools).
- Creative, innovative, and confident mindset.
- Ability to challenge the status quo and contribute to process improvement.
- Full professional proficiency in French and functional knowledge of English.
