Hi, I'm Oceane, recruitment consultant with Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance and accounting. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area, and I specialize in assisting accounting firms.

I'm looking for an Forensic accounting analyst for an accounting firm in downtown Montreal.

Your responsibilities:
• Review and analyze financial data to find/identify discrepancies or irregularities
• Prepare financial schedules and reports for insured losses (business interruption, inventory losses, fraud investigations, cyber-attacks, product recalls, fidelity and loss of earning capacity due to personal injury)
• Perform financial analysis in the context of legal or potential legal disputes
• Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner
• Meet time budget and deadlines as expected per file
• Maintain appropriate legislative knowledge on an ongoing basis
• Other tasks as needed, including occasional travel to Ottawa (10%).

Your profile

Your profile:
• 1-5 years of relevant accounting experience
• CPA designation obtained or in progress
• CBV, CFF or CFE designation, or working towards these designations would be an asset
• Audit experience, an asset
• Strong analytical, accounting and auditing skills
• Excellent French skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of insurance loss quantification and claims consulting would be an asset
• Highly detail oriented, excellent organizational management and communication skills
