Mission

Our client, a well-established Quebec-based manufacturing company with a strong international presence, is currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support its Transportation & Logistics team on a 3-month temporary contract, with an immediate start.

Your Role

Reporting to the Director of Transportation & Logistics Operations, you will play a key role in supporting the company's day-to-day transportation and customs activities by coordinating and processing requests from multiple business locations.

This position is execution-focused within a highly structured environment where attention to detail, organization, and adherence to established procedures are essential.

Key Responsibilities
Process transportation and customs requests through the company's ticket management system;
Monitor shipments and follow up on delayed deliveries;
Coordinate communications with manufacturing plants, distribution centers, carriers, customs brokers, and external partners;
Prepare and manage customs documentation, including commercial invoices, proforma invoices, Temporary Import Bonds (TIBs), and related documentation;
Ensure compliance with established service level agreements (SLAs);
Accurately document all activities within internal systems;
Follow established procedures and escalation processes when required;
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth transportation operations.

Your profile

3 to 5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, customs, or a similar coordination role;
Experience working in a high-volume operational environment;
Strong understanding of transportation operations and international freight movements;
Knowledge of customs documentation, including commercial invoices, proformas, TIBs, and import/export processes;
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven;
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines;
Positive attitude, strong team player, and receptive to feedback.

Microsoft Office Suite
Intermediate Excel (filters, lookups, basic reporting)
Language Requirements
Excellent command of French;
Professional English, as the role requires frequent written communication with international business partners.
Working Conditions
Temporary contract of up to 3 months;
Immediate start;
Day shift, Monday to Friday;
Hybrid work model:
3 days per week in the office;
2 days per week working remotely;
Thursday is a mandatory on-site day;
Office located on Montreal's South Shore, easily accessible by public transit;
Salary equivalent to $60,000 to $70,000 annually, depending on experience.
