I’m currently recruiting a Maintenance Relief Supervisor for a growing food manufacturing company. This position is ideal for a versatile maintenance leader who can quickly adapt to different shifts and operational needs to ensure continuity across the maintenance department.
Mission
Your Role :
You will step in for maintenance supervisors during vacations, leaves, training, sick days and other absences. When not covering another supervisor, you will contribute to maintenance projects and support the department's ongoing activities.
Replace maintenance supervisors during vacations, leaves and absences;
Adapt to different shifts based on operational requirements;
Ensure continuity of maintenance activities in a 24/7 environment;
Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance;
Prioritize interventions according to production needs;
Lead, coach and support maintenance teams;
Monitor maintenance performance indicators;
Coordinate interventions with production and other departments;
Ensure the availability of parts and technical resources;
Ensure compliance with safety, quality and food safety standards;
Participate in audits;
Investigate recurring breakdowns and contribute to corrective actions;
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Your profile
Your Profile :
DEC in Mechanical Maintenance, Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics or equivalent experience;
3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
Maintenance supervision experience in a manufacturing environment;
Ability to work across different shifts: days, evenings and nights;
Strong adaptability and flexibility based on operational requirements;
Food manufacturing experience is an asset;
Strong French and functional English;
Class C electrical license is an asset;
Knowledge of Microsoft Office;
CMMS experience is an asset;
Strong leadership, autonomy and ability to manage priorities in a 24/7 environment.
