Quality Assurance Manager

I’m currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Manager to join a well-established food manufacturing company located near Montérégie .
Mission
Your Role:
Reporting to the management team, you will oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System. You’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance with food safety standards and promoting a strong quality culture across the organization.
Main responsibilities:
-Define and monitor annual quality objectives.
-Develop, review, and update BRC quality procedures.
-Coordinate quality training programs and supplier approval processes.
-Prepare and oversee internal and external audits, analyze results, and recommend improvements.
-Maintain food safety certifications and ensure regulatory compliance.
-Verify the conformity of recipes, raw materials, labels, and packaging.
-Conduct pre-operational inspections and validate quality controls.
-Handle customer complaints in collaboration with relevant teams.
-Lead HACCP/BRC meetings and quality committees.
-Track and present quality performance indicators.
-Act as recall coordinator and support the BRC program.
-Perform any other related duties assigned by management.
Your profile
Your Profile:
-Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field.
2 to 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the food industry.
-Strong knowledge of BRC, HACCP, FSMA, and GMP standards.
-Bilingual – French and English (spoken and written).
-Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems.
-Detail-oriented, autonomous, and team-focused.
-Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
-Ability to manage stress and prioritize effectively.
Working Conditions:
-Salary range: $75,000 – $85,000, depending on experience.
