Mission
Your Role
As a Quality & Methods Supervisor, you will plan, organize, lead, and oversee your team to achieve performance and quality objectives. You will manage your department from a technical, organizational, and human perspective while ensuring safety compliance, environmental standards, and adherence to 5S practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee product quality control and act as the liaison with clients, suppliers, auditors, and certification bodies.
Independently determine product compliance following industrial management guidelines.
Monitor and improve supplier quality. Act as the project liaison for new projects at Mirabel and Querétaro (Mexico).
Ensure industrial changes (new production tools, site changes, process or tooling improvements) meet client and internal requirements, and communicate promptly to affected clients.
Supervise and participate in client, supplier, Nadcap, AS 9100, IPCA+ audits, as well as FAI.
Technical Skills:
Decision-making and analytical abilities.
Negotiation and persuasive communication skills.
Strong organization, autonomy, and ability to prioritize.
Reading and strict adherence to plans, schematics, dimensions, procedures, and work instructions.
Budget management.
Team Management:
Plan, assign, and track team workloads while considering individual skills.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Promote skill development and versatility within the team.
Manage human resources: training, mentoring, evaluations, and working conditions.
Monitor performance and ensure achievement of shared objectives (5S, quality, self-inspection).
Your profile
Your Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
7 to 10 years of team management/supervisory experience.
Background in the aerospace industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Functional French and English, both written and spoken.
Demonstrated leadership, autonomy, organizational skills, and a positive attitude.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure.
Strong communication and information-sharing skills.
