Mission
Your Role
I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a well-established aerospace manufacturer located on the North Shore of Montreal, for a C-licensed Electrotechnician to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. This role is on an evening shift (3 p.m. to 11 p.m.), Monday to Friday.
Reporting to the maintenance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the performance and reliability of all electrical systems on-site while also contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on all facility electrical systems.
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues and carrying out corrective actions.
- Reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and technical schematics to perform efficient interventions.
- Installing, modifying, and maintaining wiring systems, motors, sensors, transformers, switches, and control panels.
- Testing electrical and electronic components using tools to measure voltage, current, resistance, and continuity.
- Running conduits through walls, ceilings, and floors and connecting electrical wiring as needed.
- Working in coordination with production teams to address and resolve any electrical issues affecting operations.
- Supervising subcontractors or junior technicians, when required.
- Strictly adhering to health, safety, and environmental programs, and actively contributing to process improvements.
- Keeping accurate maintenance and compliance records.

- Strong electrical diagnostic skills and basic knowledge of automation.

- We’re looking for someone reliable, hands-on, and solutions-oriented—someone who enjoys technical challenges and wants to help keep operations running smoothly.
Your Background
- DEP in Industrial Electricity or equivalent certification
- Valid C License (mandatory)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
- Basic understanding of automation systems (a plus)
- Proficient in the use of electrical measuring tools
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and codes
- Comfortable working evening shifts independently
Working Conditions
- Annual salary between $72,000 and $82,000 + $0.75/hour evening premium
- Full-time permanent role, 40 hours/week
- Evening schedule: Monday to Friday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
