Welder‑Fitter – Day or Evening Shift - South Shore

Mission
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you’ll take part in assembling and welding structural steel components according to drawings and production procedures—ensuring precision, safety, and quality at every stage.
Your duties include:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and welding symbols
- Preparing, positioning, and assembling steel parts as per work instructions
- Performing flat, horizontal, and full‑penetration welds
- Marking, drilling, and fabricating complex assemblies when needed
- Operating overhead cranes and forklifts
- Maintaining a safe, organized, and proactive work environment
Your profile
- Completed welding and fitting diploma (DEP or equivalent).
- At least 2 years of relevant experience as a welder‑fitter.
- CWB FCAW certification (strong asset).
- Forklift and hoisting/rigging certifications (assets).
- Strong blueprint reading and attention to detail.
- Team spirit, autonomy, and a proactive mindset.
- Manual dexterity and pride in delivering quality work.
Working Conditions :
- Permanent, full‑time position.
- Wage range : $26.26 to $33.11 /hour, depending on experience.
- Day or evening shift (evening premium offered).
