I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established retail organization for a Senior BI Developer. This is a strategic role within a team undergoing a major transformation, offering the opportunity to contribute to the deployment of Microsoft Fabric and develop high-impact Business Intelligence solutions that support key business decisions.

Mission

Key Responsibilities
Participate in the architecture, data modeling, and end-to-end development of BI solutions using Microsoft Fabric and its components (Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2, Lakehouse, etc.).
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports that support business decision-making.
Optimize the performance of BI solutions, including the management of Microsoft Fabric capacity and usage costs.
Ensure data ingestion, transformation, and quality from multiple data sources (SAP ECC, SAP CAR, flat files, etc.).
Collaborate with business teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Contribute to the evolution of analytics practices and tools as part of the organization's transition to Microsoft Fabric.
Document developed solutions and provide technical support to end users.
Contribute to the implementation of data governance and security best practices.

Your profile

Required Qualifications
Proven experience (8+ years) in BI development within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem (experience with Microsoft Fabric is a strong asset).
Strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, and Power Query.
Solid knowledge of data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema, etc.).
Experience with ETL/ELT tools in cloud environments.
Knowledge of SAP BW and SAP ECC is considered a major asset.
Experience with Python and Apache Spark is an asset.
Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical BI solutions to business stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken (Spanish is an asset).
