I'm Robin, recruitment and business development consultant at FED IT, a recruitment agency specializing in IT professions.
I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent.
All our consultants are IT experts who speak your language and work in your environment. We cover the IT, development, business intelligence and infrastructure professions.
Mission
Key Responsibilities
1. Establish and operationalize the Architecture Function
• Define and implement the architecture operating model (roles, responsibilities, engagement with projects)
• Develop and maintain architectural principles, guidelines, and standards
• Create and maintain core templates and artefacts (solution design templates, decision logs, reference architectures)
• Promote a value‑driven, simplicity‑focused, reuse‑oriented architecture culture
2. Architecture Governance & IT Architecture Board
• Facilitate the monthly Architecture Board with clear agendas, decisions and actions
• Operate a lightweight architecture review process integrated with project governance
• Ensure initiatives:
Align with strategy and architectural principles
Address security, data, reliability, operability, and cost considerations
• Maintain an architecture decision log with transparent documentation
3. Solution Architecture Delivery for Key Initiatives
• Serve as lead solution architect on high‑priority programmes and projects
• Clarify requirements, constraints and success criteria
• Design end‑to‑end solutions spanning applications, data, integrations and infrastructure
• Identify reuse opportunities across existing platforms before adding new technologies
• Provide structured solution options with clear trade‑off analysis
4. Collaboration with IT & Business Leadership
• Build strong working relationships with IT leaders (Infrastructure, Security, Applications, PMO, Data, Development)
• Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders and product owners
• Translate business priorities into technology roadmaps and solution designs
• Facilitate workshops to identify pain points and future needs
5. Application, Integration & Platform Coherence
• Maintain a pragmatic view of the current application and integration landscape
• Identify duplication, technical debt and misaligned technologies
• Ensure new solutions:
Integrate cleanly with existing systems
Meet security and regulatory requirements
Are operable, supportable and resilient
6. Security, Reliability & Operability by Design
• Embed security‑by‑design and privacy‑by‑design into architectures
• Ensure non‑functional requirements (performance, availability, DR, monitoring, support) are defined and met
• Promote consistent logging and monitoring practices
• Collaborate with Operations for smooth transition‑to‑live activities
7. Reuse, Platforms & Architectural Standards
• Identify and promote reusable components, platforms, and services
• Maintain reference architectures (API standards, integration models, identity/access patterns, data sharing)
• Coach project teams and vendors on their application
• Track and report on reuse benefits (speed, cost reduction, technical debt management)
8. Vendor & Partner Engagement
• Support Procurement in technology sourcing and vendor evaluations
• Provide architectural input into RFPs and solution assessments
• Ensure vendor solutions comply with enterprise architecture and security requirements
Your profile
Education
Essential:
• Secondary school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent experience
• Relevant certifications (preferred, not mandatory):
Architecture: TOGAF, BCS ISEB
Cloud: Azure/AWS Architect
Security: CISSP, CISM
Experience
• Minimum 8+ years in a similar architecture‑focused role
Essential Skills / Experience
• Proven experience designing and delivering end‑to‑end enterprise solutions
• Experience establishing or maturing an architecture practice
• Ability to lead architecture reviews and influence senior stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of:
Enterprise and cloud architectures (microservices, API‑led, multi‑tier)
Security, IAM, data protection
Integration patterns (ESB, event‑driven, APIs)
• Ability to balance strategic thinking and hands‑on delivery
• Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills
• Strong time‑management and organizational capabilities
• Comfortable working across time zones in fast‑paced environments
Preferred Experience
• Experience in media, entertainment, technology or live production sectors
• Familiarity with major architecture frameworks (TOGAF, SAFe, Zachman)
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and SaaS integration
• Knowledge of CRM, ERP or rental systems (ex.: Salesforce, D365 FO)
