System Administrator – Data Center | Boucherville (Hybrid)

I am currently looking for a System Administrator to join a well-established technology and hosting services company based in Boucherville.
Mission
You will play a key role in maintaining and evolving critical infrastructure environments, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
Data Center Operations:
Ensure high availability of systems and services
Monitor and optimize infrastructure environments
Troubleshoot incidents and implement long-term solutions
Administer physical and virtual environments (servers, storage, networking)
Manage production changes and maintain documentation
Ensure data integrity, backup, and security
Client & Support Activities:
Provide Level 2/3 technical support
Contribute to solution design and technical recommendations
Maintain and administer hosted client systems
Document processes and technical solutions
Operations & Governance:
Produce and maintain technical documentation
Improve operational procedures
Support infrastructure projects and team objectives
Participate in on-call rotation
Your profile
Degree in IT or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in system/infrastructure administration
Strong expertise in VMware (mandatory)
Solid knowledge of:
Windows 11 / Windows Server
Linux environments
Experience with Hyper-V or Proxmox
Advanced networking skills (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routing, BGP)
Experience working in data center environments (physical servers, SAN)
Nice to have:
Azure, O365, Intune
Infrastructure automation (Ansible, Terraform)
Certifications (AZ-104, MD-102, CompTIA, etc.)

Structured documentation skills
Working Conditions
Permanent full-time position (40 hours/week)
Hybrid model: 3 days onsite (Boucherville)
Occasional travel to client sites
On-call rotation required
