Mission
I am looking for an accounting technician for a construction company in Laval.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Maintaining the books and performing routine accounting entries;
-Managing accounts payable, from verifying invoices to preparing payments;
- Handle invoicing, monitor accounts receivable, and assist with collections;
- Record and reconcile deposits and participate in accounting reconciliations;
- Participate in monthly and annual closings as well as the preparation of various financial reports;
- Assist with inventory tracking and government rebates;
- Prepare the documents required for external audits;
-Handle follow-ups related to the CCQ, contract terminations, and release forms;
-Help improve processes and internal controls;
-Collaborate with the finance department and various teams within the company;
Your profile
Your Profile:
-Hold a DEC or DEP in accounting, or equivalent training;
-Experience in the construction industry (payments and terminations);
-Experience with Acomba (a plus);
-Be self-reliant, organized, thorough, and able to manage multiple priorities;
