I'm Caroline, Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.
I'm looking for a Payroll Technician for my client based on the South Shore. This is a temporary on-site position.
Mission
- Handle all CCQ payroll processing for approximately 50 employees.
- Verify hours worked, compensation, allowances, and deductions in accordance with applicable collective bargaining agreements.
- Prepare required filings and reports (DAS, CCQ, FTQ, CNESST, government statements, etc.).
- Process layoffs and rehires, and maintain administrative records for employees.
- Prepare employment contracts, manage employee departures, and keep personnel files up to date.
- Track CCQ certificates, group insurance, and certain training activities.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure the accuracy and compliance of payroll and HR administration processes.
Your profile
- At least 3 years of experience in payroll processing.
- Experience with payroll in a unionized or construction environment is a plus.
- Good knowledge of government payroll requirements.
- Experience with Maestro (a plus).
- Self-motivated, resourceful, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
