I’m Caroline, a Recruitment Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance roles. I handle two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent positions on Montreal’s South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates within your industry. We cover roles in accounting, finance, and payroll.
I am currently seeking a Financial Controller for my client based in Drummondville. This is a permanent, on-site position.
Mission
- Oversee the entire accounting cycle: accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, bank reconciliations, taxes, and collections.
- Manage month-end closing, prepare financial statements, management reports, and performance analyses.
- Manage the annual budget, perform variance analyses, and track cost of goods sold.
- Ensure sound cash management and serve as a point of contact for banks, auditors, and tax authorities.
- Prepare year-end filings and ensure compliance with administrative and tax obligations.
- Participate in the company’s strategic decisions and serve on the management committee.
- Mentor and support the accounting team to ensure the department’s efficiency.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
- CPA designation is a significant asset.
- Experience in financial accounting and managing accounting operations (manufacturing experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office, and an ERP system (Epicor is a plus).
- An independent, proactive, and inspiring leader.
PROCESS: Initial interview with Caroline Vansteene, Recruitment Consultant, followed by an interview with the Human Resources Consultant.
