Senior Construction Accountant - 4 days of remote work

Mission
I am looking for an accountant for a construction company in Saint-Roch-de-l'Achigan.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the full accounting cycle for the company and its affiliates.
- Preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and year-end reports.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and withholdings.
- Track project finances, cost of goods sold, and profitability.
- Ensure subcontractor compliance and track required documentation.
-Manage payroll and obligations related to the CCQ and the CNESST.
-Conduct intercompany reconciliations and assist in preparing budgets and cash flow forecasts.
-Participate in the implementation and improvement of accounting systems and processes.
-Collaborate with management and external partners on various financial and accounting matters.
Your profile
Your Profile:
-DEC or high school diploma in accounting, or equivalent experience.
-5 years of accounting experience, including 3 years in the construction industry.
-Strong understanding of the full accounting cycle and NCECF standards.
-Experience with cost accounting, progress billing, and project management.
-Good knowledge of subcontractor compliance requirements in Quebec.
-Experience with intercompany reconciliations and multiple entities.
-Advanced proficiency in Excel.
-Bilingual in French and English.
-Ability to work independently, attention to detail, organizational skills, and discretion.
-Comfortable with technology tools and artificial intelligence.
