Mission
I am looking for a Chief Accountant for a growing manufacturing company located in Lanaudière.
Reporting to the Controller, your responsibilities will include:
-Handling accounting activities related to month-end and year-end closing
-Preparing month-end and year-end journal entries
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, management reports, and consolidated financial statements
- Supervise and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Monitor supplier payments, collections, and problematic accounts
- Analyze expenses and monitor cash flow
-Prepare monthly financial ratios and respond to requests from financial institutions
-Participate in year-end preparations and collaborate with external auditors
-Prepare and monitor grant applications and their reporting
-Verify payroll and government reports
-Perform any other related tasks associated with the position.
Your profile
Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a concentration in accounting/finance
-At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
-Ability to work independently, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities;
Benefits
-Salary between $80,000 and $95,000
