Hello, I'm Bianka, Senior Team Leader at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in accounting, finance, and payroll positions. I handle both temporary and permanent recruitment in the Greater Montreal area.

Mission

The FP&A Manager works closely with Directors and Vice Presidents of the Live Productions Division to produce high-quality, timely, and forward-looking financial information. Acting as a financial business partner, they guide operations on performance, financial risks, and opportunities. In addition, their understanding of both operational and financial systems is a key asset for the division’s growth and the integration of new companies.

Your day will look like this:

Actively participate in the production of financial reports and presentations for the management team, including the monthly analysis of results and performance indicators
Analyzes financial results and converts quantitative outcomes into clear business updates by explaining variances, trends, and underlying performance drivers.
Acts as a financial business partner to support and meet the needs of different offices (Canada, USA, UK) as well as recent acquisitions
Supports the overall annual budgeting and quarterly forecasts processes for the division
Improves monitoring of the profitability for major projects
Develop various profitability measurement tools, perform post-mortem analyzes and communicate the results to the management team
Participate in the review & analysis of the financial processes in place and provide recommendations aimed at improving financial information from the various operational systems
Participate in various special projects and respond to requests from the management team.

Your profile

Your profile:

University degree in accounting or finance; CPA title is mandatory
A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
Bilingual: French & English
Ability to work closely and collaborate with other departments and offices overseas
Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills
Proactive attitude, analytical and synthesis spirit developed
Business acumen: action, goal and results oriented
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (an asset).
