Mission
In your day-to-day role, you will collaborate with production, marketing, sales, operations, and development teams to anticipate trends, evaluate opportunities, and support the profitability of our business activities. Your analyses, financial models, and recommendations will have a direct impact on investment decisions, business priorities, and the evolution of some of our most visible projects.
After your first year, you will have helped improve our FP&A practices, strengthened the quality of our forecasts, and contributed to the growth of cultural experiences that bring together thousands of people. Here, your work goes beyond the numbers: it helps shape the future of organizations and events that leave a lasting mark on Montréal's cultural landscape.
• Develop and enhance financial models related to events, markets, and strategic initiatives.
• Participate in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and medium-term planning exercises.
• Contribute to the automation of financial reporting and the improvement of data flows used by the Finance team.
• Identify reports, analyses, and processes that can be simplified or automated.
• Analyze financial results and explain variances between actual performance, budgets, and forecasts.
• Conduct profitability, scenario, and return-on-investment (ROI) analyses to support business decision-making.
• Produce dashboards, management reports, and presentations for senior leadership.
• Partner with managers to evaluate the financial viability of new projects, events, and partnerships.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and automation of FP&A tools, processes, and best practices.
Your profile
Your Profile
• Knowledge of and interest in the events and entertainment industry.
• Minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), financial analysis, or corporate finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Significant experience in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and the ability to work with large volumes of data.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or a comparable business intelligence and data visualization tool.
• Experience automating or improving financial reports and dashboards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex financial information into actionable business insights.
• Knowledge of Power Query, DAX, SQL, or other data processing tools is considered an asset.
• CPA, CFA, or another relevant professional finance designation is considered an asset.
